Finish: Velvet / Vivid green with shimmer

Bitter is, in my opinion, a dirty yellow-green shade. It’s best described as a bright green that teeters on the edge of yellow. The pigmentation and payoff is great and it does make blue eyes stand out beautifully. Personally, I don’t see myself reaching for this much as it isn’t my favorite color out of all MAC’s eyeshadows, but I definitely appreciate its uniqueness and color power. Paired with other greens, you can get some truly phenomenal effects! My most favorite greens to pair it with are surprisingly Swimming and Lucky Green (as in Look #4 – LOVE the effect!). I do wish that some of the other colors I love would apply and blend as easily as Bitter, but I digress. 🙂
