Spotlight On: MAC Antiqued

Finish: Veluxe Pearl / Ash brown with bronze

Known Dupes: Glamour Check!, Spectacle of Yourself

Antiqued is a red-brown neutral that is a cross between a matte and shimmer consistency. I like to use this shade for a crease color and to add depth to a more neutral lid, but I also like using it all over lid for evening looks. One thing I noticed with this particular eye shadow is depending on which eye shadows you pair it with, the red will either be highly visible or not at all. It’s a beautiful color, easy to blend, highly pigmented, and definitely one color every lady should own.

  1. Number five looks gorgeous! On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the ‘must need’ meter for antiqued?

    1. Hi Jessica!
Hmm, tough question! I’d say if red-browns look real nice on you, this is a definite 9 on a scale of 1-10. It is easy to work with and makes blue and green eyes look AWESOME. Hope that helps a little more! 🙂

  2. I have been wanting plum dressing for forever! Look five is beautiful! A shopping trip to MAC is in the works!!!

  3. Is there any shade in the UD Naked palettes that is similar to Antiqued? I love #9 and want to try it… like now! 🙂
