Finish: Satin / Bright blue with shimmer
Albeit shocking when you first see this color, it is actually pretty versatile and can provide a bold look or a pop of color to your combination. This is easy to blend out and while I did not care for it all over the lid, I liked it best in the crease. Depending on how much you apply, you can end up with a stronger look by using more, or use less and REALLY blend it out so it’s a soft wash of color (as in Look #3). I wasn’t too sure about this one when I first received it and it did take me a while to warm up to it. After doing this post, I do have a greater appreciation for Electric Eel now and do recommend trying this one – especially if you have brown eyes!
Look #1
MAC eyeshadows used:
- Electra (inner half of lid)
- Smut (outer half of lid and lower lashline)
- Electric Eel (crease)
- Gesso (blend)

Wow, great job using such a bright shadow!

Wow, beautiful looks! I especially like Look 2 – I wouldn’t have thought to pair it with Tempting on the lid. Even though Electric Eel is a bold colour, I think it shows how you can use it to create a slightly more neutral look. I really like looks like that for when I want to wear a bright colour but make it a little more toned down. I don’t have Tempting eyeshadow anymore as I finished it a while ago but I might try the look with Romp instead.

Thanks, Saira!
Yes, I agree – I am partial to Look #2 also. I’m the same way – I tend not to wear bright colors on my eyes (well, not blues anyway – ha!). And if I do, they are VERY toned down.
I think that combo would look fabulous with Romp! 🙂

How do I view look 2?

Hi Courtney,
It appears your membership was cancelled; either by you or it was suspended by PayPal due to difficulties collecting payment, I’m not sure which.
If I may assist further, please feel free to let me know. 🙂
