Spotlight On: MAC Texture

Finish: Velvet / Peachy-brown with shimmer

Texture is a brown shade with a subtle amount of shimmer in the formula, although it’s not that detectable once applied. This is one of my most favorite browns from MAC and I find myself reaching for it a lot throughout the week to blend out eyeshadows in my looks and tone down more colorful combinations on the weekends. I especially like to use this in the crease as it creates an effortless smokey look. If you don’t already have this in your collection, I highly recommend you try it.

  1. Gorgeous looks :o) . I love Texture too. It’s such a great shade for blending out brighter colours and the lid and making them more wearable. One of my favourite looks is using Bio Green on the lid (you could also use Swimming), a mixture of Kid and Texture in the crease and Blanc Type to highlight.

  2. Love look #4 and while Texture is just too warm/orange for me, I might try doing this with UD’s Naked or maybe MAC Wedge in the crease. Really stunning look, as usual for you!

  3. I really like texture but I tell you, it reminds me a LOT of saddle. I am thinking about returning it just because they look so much alike. In the pan and on swatches. I think I prefer Texture out of the two cause I like some shimmer, but honestly, I don’t know if I’d ever use it much. 🙂
