Known Dupes: Poste Haste, Pink Vivid pigment, UD Woodstock
Passionate is a dark, but bright pink shade that can be quite intimidating upon first glance. This is one I wanted for a while, but I only recently got up the courage to actually get it. 🙂 I read several reviews before purchasing Passionate and many complaints were about the color pay-off. I personally did not have any trouble with it, but that could also be attributed to my fair skin. In my opinion, I don’t think those of you with fair skin will have any trouble getting this one to show up, providing you use a good primer. If you have a darker complexion, it may not be as easy and you could even try layering it over one of MAC’s paint pots (like Constructivist for example).
MAC eyeshadows used:
- Crème de Violet (on lid, below crease and lower lashline)
- Passionate (crease)
- Nocturnelle (outer v, into outer crease)
- Shadowy Lady (deepen outer v and outer half of lower lashline)
- Blanc Type (blend)
