Finish: Veluxe Pearl / Grey with silver sheen
Silver Ring is a close relative to Knight Divine, only slightly lighter and more of a medium gray shade. As I was creating combinations with it, I found myself wanting to pair it with a lot of the same colors I used in the Knight Divine posting, so the two can be interchanged quite easily. I personally like them both and can’t choose between them. I found Silver Ring easy to work it, easy to blend and great for daytime and evening looks. I read on several sites that there were some complaints with it fading after a long period of wear but I didn’t experience that problem – remember that a good base is a necessity for all MAC eyeshadows! 🙂

- Blanc Type (blend)

I notice that you use Blanc Type as your blending shade for a lot of combinations. I looked for it on the MAC website and it is not there or either I am overlooking it. Do you know if ithey have discontinued it? Thanks.

Sadly, they have 🙁 I was crushed by their decision to do that. I’ve started using Wet ‘N Wild’s Creme Brûlée as a replacement – same shade, pigmentation and only $1 – can’t beat that! 🙂
