Finish: Frost / Bright pink with icy shimmer
Swish is a light pink shade that is quite appealing upon first glance in the pan. It does require quite a bit of building to get it to show on the lid. In my experience it does not make it through the day without fading and creasing, at least when worn on its own. When I layered it over one of MAC’s colored paint pots (as seen in Look #9), not only was its color MUCH more vibrant, but it didn’t fade or crease throughout the day. So if you have experienced the same issues with Swish, try it over a vibrantly colored base; I think you’d be pleasantly surprised with the results! I like Swish best with other pinks, oranges, light purples and browns.

Ooooh, I love these looks! I am using Da Bling at the moment but I think I will have to try Swish out when I finish it. I love how you have used it with the purples and especially the oranges. Look 4 is really beautiful – I wouldn’t have thought to pair it with Off the Page and Orange.

I’m thinking of picking up Swish one of these days, but your short review’s making me have second thoughts. Did you use an eye primer on these looks?

Hi Precious!
Yes, I always use Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance before application, but Swish still faded with normal day wear. Not sure why, but by the end of the day the color just wasn’t as intense – it was a very sheer pink, hardly visible. Very disappointing. Although not exactly a dupe, I think Da Bling is a much better alternative as it holds its color throughout the day. 🙂

Thanks so much for the time & effort put into this website!!!! SO helpful!
I been trying to find the right pink and after seeing your pics I now have some great ideas on using the ones I got, plus I know what color I should’ve bought!!!
