Spotlight On: MAC Vibrant Grape

Finish: Satin / Bright magenta violet

Known Dupes: Crème de Violet

Vibrant Grape is just as the name depicts – a highly electric, vibrant grape color. This beautiful shade works with a variety of colors from MAC and blends away just as easily. I love using this to make a statement in my look and I’ve actually been reaching for it a lot more lately than I did before. I especially enjoy using this color best when it’s paired with pinks and grays. This does tend to lean more red, so if you have a cool complexion and find that you don’t like how pinks look on your eyes, you may want to skip this one and go for a more blue based shade like Satellite Dreams instead.

Look #1

MAC eyeshadows used:

  • Aquadisiac (inner half of lid)
  • Vibrant Grape (outer half of lid)
  • Freshwater (crease)
  • Deep Truth (deepen crease and line lower lashline)
  • Gesso (blend)

  1. Just got Vibrant Grape during the sale where all the shadows are $5.15… I have a feeling I’ll be doing looks #3 and #4 A LOT this summer. They’re so “fresh” which isn’t something that usually comes to mind with purples. Love these!
