Urban Decay Naked2 Palette Looks

Naked2 Palette Looks

If you don’t have the Naked2 palette, but would like to recreate some of these looks, please feel free to check out the MAC dupes post I did for the Naked2 palette here.

I will admit I was hesitant to purchase the Naked2 palette due to my initial dislike of the first Naked palette. However, I actually like this one a little bit more. What I enjoy with this palette are the larger variety of those light, shimmer shades that were lacking in the first palette. Ones like Half Baked, Verve, YDK and Chopper have become instant LOVES for me! I also like the bigger mirror in this palette, although I more than likely will never use it. There are a few dupes from MAC eyeshadows in this one (i.e. Tease is Haux’s sister), but overall I’m pleased with it.

Look #1 – click here for the full face!

UD eyeshadows used:

  • Tease (crease)
  • Pistol (inner and outer third of lid; line lower lashline)
  • Verve (middle of lid)
  • MAC Blanc Type (blend out Tease)

  1. I also much prefer Naked 2 and it’s funny since our skin tones are so opposite (I’m pale but cool toned). I still love the original Naked palette but love this one so much more (and the lipgloss is nice too – my first “non-eye” product from UD). Thanks for the tip about Tease, since Haux is a shade I’d probably never purchase. I bought this palette to get Pistol but I love every colour in it!

  2. I love look 2 its looks beautiful. I will be trying that one tomorrow. Love you website it really helps me

    1. Happy early birthday to you, Renee! What an awesome present – I know you’ll love it!
(So happy you’re enjoying the site! :))

  3. Omg, this is what I needed in my life. I have spent the last year building up my MAC and Urban Decay eyeshadow collection, and I Recently began to realize that I have hundreds of eyeshadows and I barely use any of them because I keep going for the same few shadows to create the few looks that I have put together myself or found on youtube watching other gurus, and then I found you. You have created exactly what I was looking for, a database of looks using the very colors I own! This is amazing!!!! thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into your website and your youtube videos. You have helped take out the guess work in putting looks together. You have a subscriber for life. : )

YAY! Yes, absolutely! If you go to the ‘Urban Decay Eyeshadow Directory’ in the menu bar up top, you’ll be redirected to the main directory. Under ‘Palettes’ are looks for Naked1 and Naked2. πŸ™‚ Speaking of which, I need to create more for Naked1! Enjoy!

  5. Hey Z! πŸ™‚

I’m finally getting this palette for my birthday and the first looks I’m gonna try are #2 and #6!!!

  7. Let me just add to the comments about not using this set until now. I had actually thrown it in a dresser drawer and came across it. Then the other day I was referencing your site for more MAC purchases and saw this post. I decided to pull it out of hiding and now it is a permanent resident of my carry-it-everywhere makeup bag! Thank you for making this post, I am really enjoying this set now! πŸ™‚

  8. hello! im new and just watched your you tube tutorials, since i was specifically have the naked 2 pallet and love it! i just recently started learning and doing my makeup and love the above look! i read the steps but not sure what brushes to use and still haven’t grasped the “blending” concept. i am a visual learner and was wondering if you can show this exact look in a youtube tutorial or website tutorial? i love golds and brown they look amazing on a red head such as myself. please can you send me a very detailed video to create this look? thank you!

  9. I love look #1, I’m wearing it today. It’s amazing how cool toned some of these combos are, because I thought the palette was pretty warm toned (though not as warm as Naked 1).

  10. Hye!! I will be a member ASAP..u r the best
I just have a question about the Naked 2. I heard u talking about it in one of ur youtube videos and u said that u like the naked 1 way better than naked 2 ????
I just got the Lorac pro palette and I am in love with it..but I am thinking of getting the naked 2 as well?? What do u think??
I have a warm complexion and I am super fair
    Thank u soooo much πŸ™‚

  11. I just did the look 16 today, and I really love it. Thank you for that great combo that incorporates the Smoked pallet. I would love it if you would create more looks with the Smoked pallet combining other pallets, as you did, whether UD or MAC because that Smoked pallet is so dark on its own!

    1. Yes! I definitely am going to try doing more of that in the future as the Smoked palette really needs to be combined with other eyeshadows/palettes! Glad you liked it! πŸ˜€

  12. Love all the combos. Tried #1 today and also used a bit of Blackout on the outer V. Going to try every look here for the next 2-3 weeks, yay! πŸ™‚

    Thank you so much Zabrena.

    1. Got my palette today. Bought in on Tradera (Swedish Ebay) and guess what! It was a fake!

I quickly saw that Half baked was more of a chopper than gold color and compared it with the one in Naked 1. Also the texture of the shadows was a disaster. Serial number was missing as well.

I contacted the seller and was lucky to receive my money back.

Lessons learnt and I will order from Beautybay instead:)

(From the same seller I also bought a BM foundation. Probably a fake that one also. Got my money back for this one too.)

  13. I really love look #6. I’m excited to try out some of your combos using verve and pistol, they are gorgeous colors but I could never find out how to incorporate them into my look!

  14. Tried look number 19 today, and it turned out absolutely beautiful! It’s perfect for a smokey daytime look. Looking forward to try more of these gorgeous looks! Xoxo

I got both of Nake smoky palette and Nake2 but the one I really love and use almost everyday is Nake2 because this palette can create so many natural looks. I think it’s easy to use.
