I’ve had a little bit of time to play with Naked2 and I actually like it a LOT better than I liked the first one. Surprise, surprise! I’m looking forward to working with this a lot more in the future.

Love this look! I SOOOO agree about the Naked 2 palette – I have the first one, and “eh.” I never really use it. This new one, though, is so awesome. I am so glad we both took the chance to get it!
Zabrena
Yeah, really!! 🙂 I was so hesitant after not liking the first one, like you say. Looking forward to doing more with it!
Gina
AH Z, great job! Looks multidimentional but still natural…I knew you could do something creative with this palette. Looking forward to more looks from you in the future:)
Zabrena
Thanks, Gina!
Yes, yes! Excited to continue working with this great palette!
Mariella
Applause, applause (can you hear me clapping?) for this beautiful look. I’ve actually worn this, though with Verve on the inner third and Pistol (probably the reason I bought the palette) on the outer 2/3. Funny that you and I have such different colouring and preferences and yet with both prefer Naked2 over the original.
Zabrena
Oh, was that you I heard?! 🙂 Thanks, Mariella!
I do like those three colors together – the combo you mentioned sounds beautiful too!
Yes, super funny! Makes me wonder if UD had more success with #2 over #1?!

Hi Zabrena, So happy to have re-found your website (and joined) Yay! I was hoping for your opinion on The naked 2 palette. I have been been tossing up on if I should bother buying this palette or not. I have the first naked palette and I never use it because all of the shades are much to warm for my complexion, I am very pale with cool undertones, do you think naked 2 would cause the same problem? I’m from Australia so I am unable to check it out in-store. Would love your opinion.
Zabrena
Hi Jamie!
Welcome back, girl! Missed you!! 🙂
(And thank YOU for subscribing!)
You know, I actually like the Naked2 better than Naked1, and I really didn’t think I would.
I have heard from many of my cool toned readers that they were VERY impressed with Naked2, even moreso than Naked1. So I think you would definitely like it better. I just think it’s an overall better palette; I can’t place my finger on exactly what it is about it I like more. I was scared of getting it as I heard it was more for cool-toned complexions, but being warm-toned I find I can wear the shades quite well. It’s one of those palettes that, in my opinion, (FINALLY!) works well for both sides.
I hope this helps you a little more! I know it’s a big expense (took me a while to convince myself!)!

Is the blacktrack fluidline an easy eyeliner? I have been using the penultimate because it is so easy and quick… but I’ve noticed that after lunch it looks like it’s almost “blended” in with my eyeshadow… reminds me of the Cheshire cat, it just fades out and disappears. :-\ I am always in a hurry in the morning so I guess my question for you is the fluidline a lot of work in putting on/waiting to dry?? What is the easiest brush to use with it??
Zabrena
Aw no! That’s no good! 🙁
I like Blacktrack for its ability to hold up ALL day and not move a bit! I actually have trouble getting it off at the end of the day!
I’d say once you get the hang of it, it becomes a quick and easy process to apply it. It probably takes me about 3 minutes total to do both eyes. I find using a brush like the Sonia Kashuk bent eyeliner brush really helps too! 🙂
Julia
Do you have a tutorial for this? I love it!
My Eyeshadow Consultant
Hi Julia! Thanks for asking!
Unfortunately, I don’t, my apologies!

I am really loving how this eyelook makes my green eyes lookh really green. Really pretty, and easy look to recreate. Quick question, I don’t have Tenderling blush, so what are some other Mac, or nonMac, blushes that would go with this look.
My Eyeshadow Consultant
Hi Jennifer!
My apologies for the tardy response!
There is a drugstore blush made by Jordana in ‘Tawny Beige’ that when used lightly mimicks the same coloring as Tenderling. Hope that helps!
