Kid is a light brown matte shade that EVERY lady should have in her eyeshadow collection! I regret not buying it sooner after seeing its versatility when I was putting together this post. It reminds me a LOT of Cork (although it’s lighter), so some of the combos on the site listed under Cork would work just as well with Kid. If you have a shade you’d like to tone down (i.e. Vibrant Grape, Stars ‘N Rockets, etc.), I’d recommend to try and pair it with Kid. It’s such a soft shade that’s easy to work with and even easier to blend into other colors. I do find it comparable to Soft Brown, so if you are trying to to decide between this and Soft Brown, I’d say go for one or the other; no need to have both.

Thank you so much for mentioning the similarities between Soft Brown and Kid. I got Kid in a swap and tried it and hated it. I have some go-to looks that I use Soft Brown for, so based on what you said, I tried one with Kid and LOVED it. I love Soft Brown but sometimes find it just a touch warmer than I want. Kid has the orange-y undertone on me and that warmth too. Just a much more muted version. Thanks!

Beautiful. Saw this online and thought would look great on me, but didn’t (brown down actually). i have dark brown eyes and it’s muddy rather than enhancing. Hard to judge with your beautiful eye color because it really depends on coloring of the person wearing it. But beautiful on you!

Hello: I love Kid eyeshadow! Yesterday I went to Nordstrom and Macy’s and they say it is discontinued. I cannot find it anywhere online (except for MAC UK). Do you know where I can find it in the US? Thank you.
P.S. I bought Wedge, but am not sure it will be comparable (light complexion with Rosacea, dark brown eyes).
