Spotlight On: MAC Digit

Finish: Satin / Soft violet with subtle pearl

Digit is a light purple shade with a surprisingly high level of pigmentation (for a Satin finish) and easy application. I find this color so amazing in a variety of combinations, but by far, my favorite way to wear it is with darker purples like Satellite Dreams. This is considered one of your more cool toned purples, but I find I don’t have any trouble wearing it. This is very versatile and whether worn on the lid, in the crease or in the center of the lid, it adds a LOT to a combination. No matter your eye color, this is definitely one to be considered!

  1. love that shadow! i love to wear it on the browbone in comcination with colours that are not purple – blues, taupes, browns…you should try!
besides, a request – can you do a spotlight on couqette eyeshadow? thanks!

  2. Lovely as always, Zabrena! I really love Digit. You can do softer looks with it or bolder looks. It’s a great shadow. I love when you do purple and pink looks! 🙂

  3. STOP!!!! Almost every time you do this, I end up wanting yet another eye shadow!!! It’s all YOUR fault! Z, any chance you will do some looks with the Too Faced Romantic Eye palette? (now that you have it and since you’ve also “morphed” this site from strictly MAC to MAC and UD). I’ve been hankering after UD Asphyxia for some time now and thanks to you, I’ve added Digit to the list too!

    1. LOL! You are too funny!
I will take the blame, I will! 🙂
Yep! I have it in the ‘Coming Soon’ tab – I’m actually planning to do something with that palette this weekend.
I think I recall somewhere a MAC dupe mentioned for Asphyxia . . . oh golly, now I can’t remember.
Oh! Beautiful Iris, but Asphyxia is MUCH more pigmented, whereas B.I. takes more work to build. 😉

  4. I love look #7! I do not have Indian Ink (yet, ha ha), so used Sketch (recently bought) in the outer corner in place of Indian Ink and loved it!
