Loaded is a gorgeous deep blue-green shade with beautiful pigmentation and a buttery finish. This pairs nicely with other blues, purples and of course, neutrals. It reminds me a lot of how MAC’s Plumage acts in certain looks, but I found Loaded MUCH easier to work with. It’s beautiful as an all-over lid color, or to add a little more definition to a look in the outer corner of the eye. I found Loaded held its vibrancy strong throughout the day and there isn’t any fallout associated with this shade, which is a very welcome change from some of Urban Decay’s other eyeshadows. If you don’t already own something similar to this shade, I recommend trying it!
Look #1

- Virgin (inner 2/3 of lid)

I love Loaded, though it’s so intense that I only wear it occasionally. I originally got it because I couldn’t get the NARS Rajasthan duo and Loaded was a good close second to the darker shade in that. Looks 2 and 3 are calling my name! How do you like Haight? I think it’s an awesome colour and I’m going to try combining it with Loaded, as you’ve done.
My Eyeshadow Consultant
Yeah, no kidding! It sure is intense!
I like Haight more than I thought I would! It reminded me a lot of Freshwater when I first applied it, but it’s less of that medium shaded blue Freshwater has. I just feel it’s a more toned down blue, love its pigmentation! I think you’ll really like it with Loaded!

Wow, this is a color I didn’t really see me being able to use as I thought I was a little “mature” for it. But, Look #1 totally works! Thank you!

Beautiful! I got Loaded a while ago and love the colour but I always seem to use it on the lid blended out with a brown in the crease. Pairing it with brown in the crease makes for a beautiful smokey eye but I’ve wanted to try it in other combinations for a while but not been sure what to pair it with. So glad to see this shade added to your UD Directory!
Do you think that UD Shattered is a good alternative to MAC Steamy? My MAC Steamy is nearly finished and whilst I really like it, I fancy trying an alternative product to replace the teal in my collection. Any ideas for good alternatives in the Urban Decay range?
My Eyeshadow Consultant
YAY! So happy you’ll be able to try some of these combos!
Shattered is most definitely a dupe for Steamy, but more pigmented.
Steamy has that issue with sometimes not showing up, or you have to layer it and layer it.
Not Shattered! I feel it’s even better than Steamy so you’d really like it. 🙂
Minx is another one worth looking at too.

Thanks Zabrena! Yeah, I find that Steamy is really beautiful on but I have to layer and layer it. I will definitely check out Shattered. I am going to the shops today so perhaps I will pick it up…!

Hi Z-just got a sample of pigment Mac Magic Spells which is a close dupe of Loaded! Can’t wait to try it.

just did look 4 with magic spells pigment on lid and star violet in crease, came out so nice! Used Cherish on lips with clear gloss over it and spice lipliner.

I just got Loaded in a swap and have been staring suspiciously at it wondering what to do with it exactly. You ROCK Z!

For look #5, LOVE this combo, do you suggest anything to replace Spotlight and Skimp?
