Syrup caught my attention when I saw someone else use it on their lips and I was instantly drawn to the color! I originally ordered a sample of it and after having gone through that, convinced myself I NEEDED to buy the full tube. Ha! The only reason I give this lippie 4 stars instead of 5 is because I found it to fade very easily throughout the day. It is not a longtime wearer compared to some of MAC’s Amplified Creme finish lipsticks. That was disappointing to me. Despite that minor flaw, probably attributed to its finish, I found this to be the PERFECT color for me during the day and I just LOVE pairing it with neutral eyeshadows!
What are the Best Eyeshadows to Pair with Syrup?
While Syrup is pink in color, it pairs well with a variety of colors on the eyes. My most favorite colors to pair it with are, hands down, neutrals! However, the color is subdued enough that it also works well with brighter shades like Rule, Goldmine, Ricepaper, Da Bling, Cranberry, etc. Here are some other shades that look stellar with it:
