Spotlight On: Urban Decay Stalker

stalker Stalker is a medium lavendar shade with small amounts of silver glitter sprinkled throughout the formula. It is comparable to some of MAC’s Veluxe Pearl finish eyeshadows in terms of how it applies to the lid and blends. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of with Stalker were the tiny silver specks that appeared all over my cheeks, but if you don’t count that factor it is such a beautiful color. The great thing about this shade is its versatility; you can place this in a colorful combo or a more neutral one for the daytime. Either one, it molds itself seamlessly into a look like a chameleon. If you are looking for something to stand-in for Stalker in the below looks within MAC’s line, I’d recommend colors like Beautiful Iris, Mancatcher or Lovely Lily pigment. This one is hard to find an exact dupe for; the closest you could get would probably be Mancatcher. Also, if you already have Urban Decay’s Last Call, I’d skip this one as the two are so similar (Last Call is MUCH better – no glitter!).

Look #1

UD eyeshadows used:

  • Stalker (on lid, below crease)
  • Freelove (crease)
  • MAC Blanc Type (blend)

  1. Gorgeous! I especially like look #2 – wow! I wouldn’t have thought to try Loaded with Stalker. I have Loaded and Last Call (don’t have Stalker) so I will definitely try this combo. Can’t wait to try it out!!

  2. This is a very nice combo of shades. I think that Stalker is discontinued and no longer sold. Is there any other shade in UD that is similar to Stalker? SWF?
It would be GREAT if you could make a tutorial on eye shadow basics 101, general guidelines on eye shadow application and the use of various brushes (there are so many!!!!!!)

    1. Hi Rina!
It’s still available here on AllCosmeticsWholesale:—Stalker.html

I buy from here all the time; very reputable, great place to get discounts on eyeshadows, especially discontinued ones. 🙂
I can’t think of any other shade this compares to, possibly Last Call.
Thank you for the feedback on the video ideas! 🙂
I have done a whole brush series on the YouTube channel you’re welcome to check out 😉
I will make it a point to add an Eyeshadow Basics video to the Video Gallery on the site next month – thank you! 😉

      1. It’s out of stock. Do you know how to tell if sellers on Amazon have the real thing? I was sold fake cosmetics on eBay once (should have known better) and fortunately was able to get my money back. So I’m leery of buying cosmetics online unless it’s from the manufacturer’s website or an authorized distributor.

        1. Hi Krista!
I have found Amazon to be far more reputable than eBay when it comes to eyeshadows; I’m not sure why. Only problem is now they’re charging double the price because it’s out of stock. 🙁 I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help!

          1. No, you have been very helpful. This site is great! I’m sure I’ll be able to find it somewhere. 🙂
