When I first got the sample of Speed Dial, I was expecting this big, bright insane pink color to jump from the tube to my lips, but to my amazement, I found this to be quite wearable. This is one of those pinks that is bright, but it has more of a quiet, subdued nature to it. The formula is creamy in consistency and applies like butter straight from the tube. Speed Dial is one I feel would compliment any and every complexion, providing you enjoy wearing pink lipstick that is. 😉 This one did stain my lips after wearing it all day similar to how red lipsticks react after prolonged wear, but because the color is lighter, it wasn’t terrible. It also wears well through eating and drinking, which is always a welcome quality in my book. How do you feel about Speed Dial?

Surprisingly enough, I found Speed Dial worked great with neutrals and a variety of colors. It has something to do with the uniqueness of this color; yes, it’s a bright pink, but it’s not completely over the top in comparison to something like MAC’s Show Orchid. I have noticed that the more contrast that exists in the eyes, the more vibrant Speed Dial becomes on the lips. I really enjoy wearing this with green eyeshadows, neutrals of course, yellows, and lighter/softer pinks. Try some of these with Speed Dial:

Looks SO pretty on you (but then I like you with more colour on your lips). I don’t have this particular lippie but I’m thinking of picking it up!
Thanks, Mariella! 😉
I prefer more color these days, too.
It’s a great one! If you do pick it up, you won’t regret it!
Looks fresh! I would love to try it.. (Makes mental note.)
