I’ll admit, I was VERY intimidated by Show Orchid (and I keep wanting to call it ‘Snow Orchid’ for some reason LOL), but I am glad I decided to take the plunge with it! This bold pink shade is perfect for “in yo face” glamour! I love wearing it on its own but I also REALLY like to create ombre lips by incorporating in a lighter shade, like Creme d’Nude; if you’d like pictures of what I mean, I did that back in this post. The finish is creamy, dreamy and pigmentation lasts long, wearing well throughout the day. If you want to change the color up, or even tone it down, try layering some of MAC’s lip glasses over it as well; you might be pleasantly surprised with some of the effects you can achieve!
What are the best eyeshadows to pair with Show Orchid?

Neutrals! Neutrals of any and all kinds! You can also try pairing this color up with lighter, soft pink shades, light yellows, and greens. If you choose not to go with a neutral combination and instead want a little color on your eyes, just be sure to keep the shade light. That will alleviate any possibilities of looking too “clown-ish”. If you wanted to pair this lip color up with smokey eyes for evening wear, stick with light to medium shaded grays.

Hi Z!
Absolutely beautiful! I wanted to try this shade and said no because I was concerned about the color. Not anymore! Show Orchid looks beautiful on you. 🙂 I actually like the name Snow Orchid better. 🙂 This lipstick would be beautiful with MAC’s Dazzleglass in Date Night. Thanks!

For all those ladies that want to save a few dollars, Milani ‘s Rasberry Rush is a dupe for Show Orchid.

OMG, you just made me realize it’s not Snow Orchid! I have it and I’ve been calling it Snow Orchid all this time as well!
