Spotlight On: MakeupGeek Crème Brûlée

cremebruleeCrème Brûlée can best be described as the ‘Soft Brown’ in MakeupGeek’s line of eyeshadows, in my opinion. It is the most versatile shade and goes with nearly every color; it is a dream to blend when used in the crease and create a soft smokey neutral eye effortless when dusted onto the lid. If there is a particularly bright color you’ve struggled with wearing in the past, pair it up with a shade like this (as seen in #3 – LOVE!)! It simplifies even your brightest colors. I adore this color and feel it’s one of those must-own staples, so if you’re trying to decide which MakeupGeek eyeshadows to get first, or next, definitely add this one to your list!

  1. love look 4-just ordered prom night & drama queen to complete one of my palettes. Have creme brulee already.

  2. I love Look #6! (I have your YouTube how-to video for that combo saved to my YouTube favorites, haha)! MUG’s Chickadee is one of my MUG favorites! It’s such a unique shade and goes great with various other colors!

  3. I prefer look 3 to look 9 in the arena post, the brightness and use of less colours appeals to me
Look 4 is gorgeous, similar to satin taupe and malt
    Definitely my favourites

  4. Hi! Your are not abandon MAC now I hope;)
How is MUG compared to MAC? I see they ship worldwide and they have one very nice “start kit” which contain MAC dupes unable to buy here in Europe. Shall I give MUG a try or stick to MAC?

    1. Hi Lena! Definitely not abandoning MAC! 😉 Just trying to incorporate in more eyeshadow brands to the website. 🙂
I have personally been very impressed by MUG and some of them are comparable with MAC. If there is a MAC eyeshadow you can’t get there, I’d recommend going for the dupe in the MUG line, they’re great quality!

  5. Just put my 1st order in for Makeup Geek. Since l have to pay postage l thought l would wait till l had 10 items in my wishlist. Boy, it doesn’t take long to get to those 10 items, yea, and l did end up ordered more. Couldn’t help myself 🙂
