Crème Brûlée can best be described as the ‘Soft Brown’ in MakeupGeek’s line of eyeshadows, in my opinion. It is the most versatile shade and goes with nearly every color; it is a dream to blend when used in the crease and create a soft smokey neutral eye effortless when dusted onto the lid. If there is a particularly bright color you’ve struggled with wearing in the past, pair it up with a shade like this (as seen in #3 – LOVE!)! It simplifies even your brightest colors. I adore this color and feel it’s one of those must-own staples, so if you’re trying to decide which MakeupGeek eyeshadows to get first, or next, definitely add this one to your list!

How is MUG compared to MAC? I see they ship worldwide and they have one very nice “start kit” which contain MAC dupes unable to buy here in Europe. Shall I give MUG a try or stick to MAC?

I have personally been very impressed by MUG and some of them are comparable with MAC. If there is a MAC eyeshadow you can’t get there, I’d recommend going for the dupe in the MUG line, they’re great quality!
