Tarte Light of the Party Holiday Palette 2015

Filled to the brim with 24 eyeshadows in varying matte and shimmer finishes, the Tarte Holiday palette is certainly one of those sets that gives you a LOT of bang for your buck! This is a neutral palette with a few pinks and plums (and even a navy blue!) thrown into the mix. Also included is a deluxe sample size of Tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes mascara, and a small dual ended eyeshadow brush. As if that wasn’t enough, there is a smaller sized palette (within the large palette) hosting 6 additional eyeshadows, a highlighter, a blush AND a bronzer … whaaaat?! I really like the versatility of this palette and how easy is is to throw into your bag for your holiday trips! Nearly everything you need is right there.

The eyeshadows are rich, creamy and buttery smooth. They apply with little effort and blend just as easily. I felt like the eyeshadows showed from the pan to the eyes pretty true to life and the names of each of these are so stinkin’ adorable and creatively put together. “Baby It’s Gold Outside” … “In a Flurry” … “Peach On Earth” … “Chrome for the Holidays” are just a few of my favorite names from the palette. If you tried the Tartlette palette from Tarte, and really liked it, I have no doubts you will be madly in love with this set!

  1. Ooh, I am so grateful that you decided to do some looks with this palette. I just bought it and was overwhelmed with the choices. You have made it so easy. Thank You!!!

    1. Hi Petra!
Hmm, I’d say it’s a mixture of both. There are some cool shades in here and some warm, too. I feel like there’s a nice balance, and the warm shades are not overtly warm, if that makes sense. 🙂

  2. Can not wait to try these looks! They are beautiful as always! I really like this palette! I’m so glad I got it.

  3. I just got this palette! It’s so beautiful, but it’s really easy for the colors to just blend into one another. It’s kind of divided into quads vertically. I can’t wait to see more looks!

    1. Kellyjean, you’re right – I hadn’t even noticed how each vertical row is a quad til you mentioned it. I am really trying to talk myself OUT of this one (so many of the colours look so much the same, especially some of the lighter ones) but I REALLY love the Pink Champagne highlighter and, well, I am just so weak but I am really going to try to resist.

  4. I’m soo glad I took the trouble to get my hands on this one! Love the looks you’ve created and no. 2 & 9 just blew me away! I think no. 9 will be my Christmas look this year ^_^. Thnx for this one Z!
