MakeupGeek Sparklers
MakeupGeek came out with a new line of glitters over the holidays in a variety of new and different colors. Some I have seen before in other brands but a good many of these were very unique, which was nice to see! Most every glitter I have used is just plain messy, and unfortunately, these are no exception! The glitters are more finely milled so they tend to fly every where, not just on your face, but also your makeup table. LOL For that reason I found them rather troublesome to apply. I did use a glitter glue during application, which helped some, but I still ended up with glitter all over my face during application and also throughout the day. While I can appreciate the new colors, and perhaps using these on special occasions, I’m sad to say they won’t be products I’ll reach for consistently. Thumbs up to MakeupGeek for trying!
Have you tried any of the new Sparklers?

Hey Zabrena! I just found this little miracle product from Anastasia Beverly Hills, it’s like an eye shadow glue, but it’s in more of a gel form, so you mix it with the product in a pan or back of hand. I’ve found it easier than the liquid mixing mediums. It certainly cuts down mess and fall out. It’s called Beauty Genius. I found mine at Beautylish: http://www.beautylish.com/s/anastasia-beauty-genius

Oh how cool! Thanks for sharing that, Rachel! 🙂

Thanks for showing us these looks. The last is my favorite. I do think I will have to skip as I have enough trouble not being messing with eyeshadows, eyeliners , etc… I hope that you were able to have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and not have to work too hard. Thank-you for the time you spend on these looks for us.

Beautiful Job Z, however I will be passing on these also, I couldn’t keep control of pigments, never mind sparklers LOL.

I have three of these and I really enjoy them! I for sure have to use a glitter glue and I don’t wear them on a daily basis but I don’t wear glitter on the daily in general. The sifter Marlena is working on for them will make a huge difference but I still love these. Halo is my favorite.
