The Revealed Smoky palette is a relatively new palette (I think …?) put out by Coastal Scents. It has a total of 20 eyeshadows in varying finishes from mattes to shimmers. After having tried all the Revealed palettes before this one, and only being disappointed by Revealed3, I had high expectations for this one and I’m very happy to be able to tell you it is an pretty good palette. The pigmentation is excellent, lasting power is just as good and there are quite a few dupes in here for the Urban Decay Smoky palette. Unfortunately I did not have an opportunity to do a thorough side by side swatch comparison between the palettes, but I’ll make it a point to get a post out this week for reference. That way, if you would like to recreate any of these looks with the UD palette, you can. (You really don’t need both palettes.) One of the negatives I noticed with this palette is it has the same problem as the UD palette with the purple shades (#9, 10). As pretty as they swatch, they don’t look that way on the eyes. đ Despite that minor flaw, if you haven’t picked up the UD palette yet, this is a great alternative at a very affordable price, and you’re getting 8 additional eyeshadows to boot!

Don’t you wish they would put names on these to make it easier for you? Such pretty looks. You are so creative! Did you decide to do this palette this week rather than the Mermaid one? Thanks for all of your hard work
