Violet Voss Drenched Metals Palette | Looks & Review

After reviewing the Holy Grail palette a couple weekends ago (and LOVING it!), I was anxious to try out the Drenched Metals palette. While I’m not personally a fan of the color arrangement in this one, the pigmentation is spot on once again, there is no fallout, and the eyeshadows wear beautifully throughout the day. I also like how much you get for the price with these palettes; they’re an excellent value in my opinion. And I don’t have to apply any of the eyeshadows wet, ever! YAY! If you’re looking to add more colors into your collection, this is a great palette to consider as I feel it would mix well with so many different neutrals. A majority of the eyeshadows in the palette are shimmery and I thought they’d be WAY too much to apply in the crease, but I was proved wrong. They didn’t look so bad! So, overall, two thumbs up again!

Have you tried this palette? What do you think of it?

  1. I have it and love it for all the reasons Zabrena mentioned plus—TEALS! Can’t wait to try these looks! Thank-you so much Zabrena for all of your hard work and creative eyelids, LOL! Love You!

  2. Loving the colours of this palette, especially love look 4, sooooo pretty. Wish it was easier to find this in the UK though 🙁 will keep an eye out as this is a must have. Thank you for reviewing x

  3. I think I will pass on this as I have to have mattes in my crease. I love anything metallic, so this looks tempting, however I bought the Anastasia Renaissance palette and I’m loving it at the moment for travel and so many looks. Maybe one day I will buy, but thank you Zabrena for the looks, inspiration and all your hard work!

  4. Look 3 is so much fun it makes me want to demand my body to have the energy to try it. My body just laughs at me.

  5. I’ve never even heard of Violet Voss but this palette is so gorgeous, I’m ready to have a TANTRUM that it’s not sold here. This palette, though – it looks so much like the arrangement of some of the UD Book of Shadows and Vice palettes – the shape and size of the pans and the arrangement, the black cardboard, the lettering….if I didn’t know, I’d think it was a UD palette.
