Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette from BH Cosmetics
It’s been a while since I’ve used anything from BH Cosmetics, and quite honestly, I wasn’t expected much based on eyeshadows I had purchased years ago. However, I am SO happy to tell you the quality of this palette is a LOT better than what I remember using previously. What did surprise me about this palette was the price jump that happened recently. I remember purchasing it for $19 (and don’t recall it being on sale), but now it’s on the BH Cosmetics website for $22.50 …? Maybe it was an introductory price? Either way, it’s a worthwhile palette, even if it is $3 more. This palette is much bigger than her 2016 version; it contains 15 eyeshadows and 6 highlighters for the face, although the highlighters could easily be used as eyeshadow, too. I have used them like that and rather like the results! I’ve also been applying them on the center of my lips (as you can see in one of the video tutorials below) for a warm summer glow.
The color range is very warm within this palette and the colors were expertly coordinated by Carli, 2 thumbs up for her selection. Sometimes you can run into a palette where the colors clash and it’s hard to create looks using just the palette alone; I didn’t struggle at all with this palette and never washed a look off. (And that’s rare when I’m creating looks with one palette!) The eyeshadows can be a bit chunky and you have to be careful when picking them up with a brush. If you apply too much pressure, you’ll see them crumble, so a light hand is the key. The pigmentation is insane, so you won’t need to dig into the eyeshadows anyway.
Overall, thoroughly impressed with this one and it’s made me rethink BH Cosmetics as in wanting to explore more of their palettes.

Yes! Using Zabrena’s numbered picture, shades 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15 as well as the 1st large rectangle highlight on the left, and the 3rd and 4th smaller square highlights.

I finally and reluctantly gave my original CB palette to my 19 year old niece. Although the colors were georgeous the shimmer was too intense for my mature skin. I would be leary about this one too even though I am tempted!

I’m so excited you posted this, I got this palette when it first launched, and I’ve been needing some more ideas for looks using it. I was so excited to hear on Snapchat that you had gotten it and were going to use it for the Youtube videos you posted last week, and I was looking forward to (*hoping for*) a post about the palette here. I also have her original palette, the Shaaanxo palette, and the Bubzbeauty palette (I guess I love my Youtuber collabs) from BH Cosmetics. In terms of quality, I feel like the Shaaanxo palette comes the closest to the Deluxe Edition Carli Bybel palette, while the Bubzbeauty palette is more similar to the original Carli palette. I think that each Youtuber did a really good job of choosing a shade range that represent them and the looks that they create.

This is the best palette so far this year for me. I am a few months from turning 60 and I love the shimmer! It is not too aging if you use on lid. It is smooth, buttery and beautiful colors! I’m in love with #9, it is gorgeous! Really makes blue eyes pop, even old ones.
Older gals, you CAN wear shimmer if done on mobile lid. Please don’t give up, you will love this! A must-have palette for everyone and every skin tone!

Hi Zabrena. I LOVE this palette, but I’m really trying to restrain myself from buying it as I have sooo many MAC shadows (close to 100!). Are there any MAC shadows I could substitute?

My first bh cosmetics palette was galaxy and ive been using that for several months now and i use it almost daily.i love the colors and the pigmentation is great! I just got the carli bybel palette today after swatching it in store and falling in love with the highlighters. I am so excited to create looks with this palette and i think the palette colors will blend well together between palettes. I also really want to buy supernova which is the darker sister palette to galaxy. I wasnt expecting
Much from bh cosmetics but they really won me over with the quality and affordable pricing. I wasnt even going to get a palette today, i went in for lipstick! But all of the employees told me they own the carli bybel palette and were wearing looks using the palette, that told Me a lot. One says she recommends the carli bybel palette over the subculture palette in terms of quality for the price! I know the colors are different but she was stricly speaking quality.

Speaking of BH cosmetics, can u do some eye looks useing the Aurora palette and solar flare palette? 🙏🏼 All the looks are beautiful and this palette is just so pretty and easy to use.
