The Too Faced ‘I Want Kandee’ eyeshadow palette is done in collaboration with well-known YouTuber, Kandee Johnson and features 15 warm neutral eyeshadows in a mixture of matte and shimmer finishes. The case is quite different from any eyeshadow palette I’ve ever seen before; it has a rounded and beveled lid. Different! Like the other ‘candy’ themed eyeshadow palettes from Too Faced, there is a strong scent associated with this one, very cake-like. I found it to be rather strong personally. While I have no problems tolerating the Chocolate Bar and Peach palettes, this one was rather nauseating after having it open all the while creating these looks. (No I’m not pregnant LOL) The finishes of the eyeshadows are nice, the bottom row of creams left a lot to be desired and they lack pigmentation when compared to the rest of the eyeshadows in this palette. I did like the color tones in here, but I feel like there’s nothing new in this palette when compared with the previous Chocolate Bar and Sweet Peach palettes. Taking that and the smell into consideration, I’m labeling this one as a “skip” and one you can do without. However, if you already own it and you’re looking for some ways to wear it, I did put together some real beautiful combos below you’re welcome to try! 🙂
Look #1
Eyeshadows used:
- Whipped Cream (inner half of lid)
- Taupe Berry (outer half of lid)
- Raspberry Cocoa (crease)

I love look three. The palette looks very dupable. I do not own any two faced shadows mostly because I already have a ton of shadows and also because I don’t need my eyeshadow or any makeup for that matter to have a scent, I don’t see the point in it. But as usual you did great job.

In the early days of youtube makeup videos/tutorials, I loved Kandee Johnson but over time, felt that a lot of her content was just a bit too over-the-top for me. Still, I was hoping that this palette would be better (though I’m not surprised it isn’t…that whole “Kandee” thing). As you said, this looks SO dupe-able and I really have an issue with Too Faced putting fragrance into eye shadows. I can tolerate scented products; I’m lucky not to be someone who is sensitive to fragrance but there are so many people who are so this “gimmick” of theirs really makes me wonder just how much they care…
